My name is David Nicholson. I'm 23 and I come from Scotland
I'm a Parliamentary Assistant working for an M.P. in the House of Commons
This is actually my first job. I graduated from university in July last year
The barriers I have had to overcome in my life – because I'm on the autism spectrum,
it's communicating and socialising with other people. These are the two biggest barriers
I have had to overcome to get to where I am today.
My greatest achievement would be coming down to London and getting a job in Parliament.
I think that's probably my greatest achievement so far.
My advice to young disabled people would be to keep positive, to be courageous and to
rise above your disability.
