Hi folks, this is my 2nd videotutorial of EE scenario editor
this time I've placed 3 teams of royal guards in different positions
and 5 imperial cuirassiers for the AI player
the idea of this example is when any royal guard enter the stone texture area
then cuirassiers go to patrol de area
looking for units that have just entered this area
ok, let's define the objects!
clic on trigger and then go to area
create a new area and select the restricted area
this is the area where any unit of player 1 can get in
let's define units, go to object and create a new object..
select this 5 cuirassiers as the new object
create a new object and let's specify it because...
we want the effect to trigger when ANY unit of player 1 is in the restricted area
check Dynamic and type 1 as the minimum amout of units...
needed to trigger the effect
check In area and select the area we created before
go to effect and create a new effect
what we're going to do is to freeze the cuirassiers
we want them to stay inactive until a unit of player 1
get in to the restricted area
Type of effect: Object, Action: Freeze and Object: the cuirassier we defined before
duplicate the effect and just change the Action to Unfreeze
this effect will activate the cuirassiers once any unit of P1 is in the restricted area
create a new effect, Type: Object and Action: Task-Object
select the cuirassiers object first and then the P1 units
and Action: Patrol
why patrol?
