Watch how easy it is to view and change a rate plan and features with Premier.
We'll show you how to request a change to a rate plan, a data add-on plan, optional
features, and applications.
We’ll also show you how to verify and confirm your change request.
This training is primarily intended for company administrators, but the procedure is similar
for other user roles with the proper permissions.
We'll start on the Premier home page, already logged in as a company administrator.
In the "Accounts" tile...
...under "Lookup," make sure the options "Wireless number" and "Equals" are selected.
Now, enter the 10-digit wireless number you want to make changes to, and then click "Go."
The View Account Information page appears with details about the wireless number.
From the "Plans & Features" list, select "Change Rate Plan."
If your login has access to more than one employee group and you're prompted to select
one, be sure to select the one that contains the preferences you want to assign.
Now, we'll select a new primary rate plan.
In this section, you can verify the current rate plan and all other existing services.
Any pending changes also appear here.
This lets you verify whether the new changes you're requesting will affect any changes
that are still pending.
This is the last device purchased or updated for this wireless number.
Verify that this is the current device, so only compatible rate plans will be shown.
You can change the device, if needed.
Note that if Premier detects a different device is being used on the network, you must indicate
the correct device before you can continue.
Now scroll down to see the types of available rate plans.
If you want to use the device only for data service, you can select an "Individual Data
Only Plan."
Remember, in that case, voice service won't be available.
For the device in this example, voice plans are the primary rate plans, so they're displayed
by default.
The current plan is selected.
If you want to learn more about any of the other rate plans, click the plan name.
When you’re ready, select a new plan.
And then indicate when you want this change to become effective...
...as soon as the request is completed...
...or at the next billing cycle.
Then click "Continue."
If your existing data add-on plan is still compatible with the selected device, you can
continue without any changes.
For this example, we'll select a new data add-on plan before continuing.
Features and applications are grouped by category.
Current ones appear highlighted and preselected.
We'll add one new feature...
...and then scroll down...
...and add one new application.
Note that you can select only one option per category.
Then click "Continue."
If any existing items will be removed because of your new selections, you're asked to review
this information.
If you decide to keep an existing item instead of adding the new one, click "Edit" and change
your selection.
When you’re ready, click "Continue."
Verify your requested changes and click "Submit."
Your rate plan change request is confirmed.
You'll receive an email when your request is complete.
Most requests, like this one, are completed immediately.
Some requests require more processing and might take up to 48 hours to complete.
For those requests, you see a status of submitted.
Keep the request number handy so you can check the status of this request later.
Note that the new rate plan and features become available on the effective date you selected.
