Hi, this is Mike from ShowMeCables. This video will show you how to install the TVM-T37 wall
mount.
The TVM-T37 wall mount can accommodate a 23 to 37 inch displays up to 165 pounds.
Included are the TV brackets, wall mounting plate and hardware.
The tools needed will be a hammer, Phillips screwdriver, pencil, stud finder, a drill,
a socket attachment for the drill, the ratchet, a half inch socket, a quarter inch drill bit
and a level.
Determine where you want to mount the TV or monitor, typically from a seated position
the middle to the bottom of the TV should be at eye-level.
Locate the mounting points on the back of your TV, some are shallow some are deep. Consult
your owner's manual to determine which bolt will fit.
Attach the mounting brackets evenly spaced on the back of your TV as shown. The adjustable
hook part should be at the bottom side of the TV. Use the provided plastic washers for
spacing if your TV has shallow threads.
Tighten the bolts in order to secure the brackets to the TV. Start these by hand and tighten
with a Phillips head screwdriver. Please repeat the same process on the other side.
Using a stud finder you can secure the mount into a stud. If you do not have a stud in
the desired location the plastic anchors must be used.
Make a mark where your holes will need to be drilled.
Using a quarter inch drill bit, pre-drill the holes where the marks are that you just
made. Use the provided wall anchors. Be sure the holes you drilled will accommodate these
anchors. Using a hammer lightly tap them into place.
Attach the mounting plate to the wall using the provided screws and tighten using the
half inch socket. Start them by hand and tighten with the socket.
Using a socket attachment for a drill, will simplify installing the wall mount screws.
Mount the TV to the mounting plate. When you are satisfied with the position, push the
latches at the bottom up. This will hook the bottom of the brackets to the mount.
Tighten the screws with a Phillips head screwdriver. This will lock the TV mount in place with
the wall bracket. Please repeat the same process on the other side.
To adjust the tilt, simply turn the handled screws at the top of the bracket, counter-clockwise
will tilt the TV down, clockwise will tilt the TV up.
