namaste my name is samriddhi and you are watching rule your world tv. today i want to talj about
passion and fun. how can we be more passionate and how can we enjoy our days more. everyday
we have so many things we need to do. we get stressed out, we just want the day to end
and go home and sleep, and yet the same thing happens all over again tomorrow. can we break
this pattern? the first thing we need to realize is that the only moment we have is the present
moment. so if you want a fun filled life then you need to have fun right now. if you want
a happy life you need to be happy right now. for me the meaning of passion is loving what
i do completely and having fun doing it. lets talk about some simple ways to bring passion
into your life. find something that you completely love to do. some thing that makes you happy,
that makes you smile. it does not have to be anything big. maybe its dancing or singing
or playing football or making videos. and then find a way to do it everyday. one thing
you need to remember is that this needs to be creative by creative i mean you need to
be actively involved emotionally mentally physically. u cant sit in a couch and passively
watch tv. when you are actively involved in doing something you really love,giving it
full attention, giving it priority and without feeling guilty then you start to have so much
fun and your days will start to seem so much brighter and you'll start to infuse more passion
in your days. it does not have to be for a long time. just do it for 20 mins. the next
step you can do is think about one task that you actually do everyday. something like cooking
or cleaning or working out. which you do everyday but you dont necessarily like doing and then
find some fun ways to make it more enjoyable. i did this with working out. i am not a very
motivated person but i really wanted to include workout in my daily routine. i went out and
got a dvd for yoga. everyday i used to wakeup and do yoga for a while. it never really felt
like fun. it felt like something i had to do because i had to do it. and one day i decided
i wanted to make yoga fun. so i stopped pushing myself to do more than i wanted to and i started
to make it more fun by playing beautiful music in the background, lighting up some aroma
candles because the smell actually lifts my mood up pretty fast. asked my family not to
disturb me during the time and then i just started to be in the moment and have more
fun doing yoga and just being mentally more engaged in the whole process. now i really
like doing yoga i dont need music or aroma candles to have fun while doing yoga. and
right now i am doing the same thing with cooking. these days i need to do a lot more cooking
and i wanted to make it more fun bcause i am really not a good cook. so what i did was
i started playing beautiful music in the background i did more research about spices and how they
mix well together. i did research on how to makes it more tastier and then i asked for
positive feedback from my family so that i can get more motivated. and these things actually
work. i started to like cooking more and i am more interested now in making new dishes.
its more fun now when i'm more involved in the whole task. so you can actually trick
your brain into thinking that some task is fun and if you do this with your daily routine
then your days wont feel as stressed out as it used to. so this is me. now it is your
time to have fun. go find the things that you love to do and then find ways of having
more fun doing things you do everyday. and share it with us. dont forget that. i'll see
