G’day everybody. It’s Daimien here and thank you for visiting my site. If you haven’t
already got a copy of my book, make sure you get one there. It’s a great little book,
it’s 120 pages long, I’ve tried to make it as short and succinct as possible. It’s
got everything in there that I wish everybody told me before I started investing in property.
It’s absolutely free, so go and get yourself a copy. When I started out in property, I
was looking for a mentor, someone to guide me and as you know a little bit about from
the video above, I was in the army, I didn’t have a lot of time, I wasn’t sure where
to invest and I went to all these seminars and things like that and all I found were
sharks. Spruikers who were trying to undersell properties, that wasn’t necessarily in the
best locations or gonna make any money. So I decided to try and do it all myself and
I went out there and I had a lot of failure, I made a lot of mistakes that cost a lot of
money. But then I decided, look I’m gonna have to study all this stuff for myself so
I then read everything that was ever written about property investment and then I started
having some success. There’s an old saying in property investment and it’s that you
pay for your education one way or another. Without somebody to guide and mentor me that
was the only choice I had. When I then started having some success, I then got head hunted
out of the army to go and work in the property investment industry of Australia and to be
brutally honest I was shocked with what I saw that goes on behind the scenes and some
of these companies. You go along to these seminars thinking oh this is great, they’re
really gonna help me succeed. But what’s happening behind the scenes is quite contradictory
to that, so I decided that I was gonna go out on my own and set up a company where I
was 100% focussed on the client, on the client’s success, 100% loyal to them. Not loyal to
some developer who was trying to move some stock that he couldn’t sell so he had to
sell it to some unweary investors. So that’s what I’ve done with integrity property investor
services. We don’t sell property but we will, when the time is right for you, point
you in the direction of reputable people who are selling the right sort of property in
the right places. Now my mantra is to buy where it’s booming,
if you don’t buy where it’s booming, you’re not gonna make any money, if you don’t buy
where it’s booming you’re not gonna be able to grab the equity from that property
and move onto the next one. So how do you know where that is? Well that’s a big part
of what we do here too. We have a very robust research process that we go through to identify
those hot spots and make sure our clients are buying there. The other thing I’ll do
