Almost, every human being pondered upon this question
Who created Allah?
I asked my mom: -"mom, who created Allah?"
She told me:
- "mm, dear, it's a good question, but when it comes to your mind,
ask Allah for forgivness, and it won't come to you again"
I said to my self :
-"for sure the Imam of the mosque would have the answer; who created Allah?"
I went to the Imam and asked him : "who created Allah?"
He told me the same thing:
"Ask Allah for forgivness and it will not come to you again"
I did ask Allah for forgivness and to keep the devil from seducing me,
and yet the question still comes to my mind"
I can't help think that SINCE everything in the universe was created,
THEN Allah must have been created as well!
Whenever I ask this question,
the answer always been either not convincing or not satisfying
And even if I get convinced by an answer momentarily, later I have doubts again
Should I remain silent then?
ok, But still, who created Allah?!
When you were young, with all the child's innocence
You used to ponder upon a lot of things,
and ask very logical and obvious questions...
"How did I come to this life"...
"Dad, do you and Mom love each other?"...
"Is it true that uncle is going to hell because he doesn't pray?!"
But there were questions that had only one answer..
"This question is forbidden!, son, ask Allah for forgivness!"
That's what made us afraid of thinking of many crucial questions...
for example; "WHO CREATED ALLAH?!"
If we assume that everything has a source
And each source consequently has its own source
there would be infinite number of sources for everything
Therefore, logically, this series of sources has to seize at a certain point,
it has to reach a point where there is a source that has no source
That's what we would call: "the First/Ultimate Source"
Therefore, this First Source had to exist before the beginning of time
Because if it existed after the beginning of time,
then that First source itself had a beginning,
that something else existed before it
But again, the First source existed before the beginning of time,
and thus, before the beginning of space
without the sun and moon, there is no day and night,
no months and years; no time!
Thus, time and space existed simultaneously
and that's what science has proposed in the form of the big *** theory,
that through the massive explosion in the universe, time and space existed
Consequently, that First Source existed before the sun, moon, stars, time, space, etc
THEREFORE, that First Source is the one that created time and space
Allah (All mighty), says in the holy Quran:
"He created the day and the night, and the sun and the moon"
See how accurate the Quran is in discribing the combination of time and space
"he created the Heavens and Earth truly"-space,
turning the night into day and the day into night"-time.
Quran says:"He commanded the sun and the moon, each flows in its own orbit,
until a predetermined time"
So the First Source, that was not created, is the one who created everything else
He is Allah.
So if Allah created the time and space, how can we ask who created Allah?
No, because He is the who created and hasn't been created
If we asked: "who created the First Source?"
then it's not the First Source, then it wouldn't be Allah
We have to differentiate between the first event, which is the Big ***,
and the first source, which has created the first event, which is Allah
Philosophers specified description for this causation
They said it has to be before the beginning of time, space and energy
Therefore, nature can't be the creator of the universe,
because nature itself is time, space and energy
the creator has to exist before the creation(time, space and energy),
he has to be the First Source
He also has to have absolute power; omnipotent.
In the way the Quran puts it: "he is capable of everything"
The philosophers also said that he has to have the ability to make decisions
So that he makes the decision of creation, after there was nothing
They also said that he has to have the ability to know and see the future
They also said that he has to have absolute intelligence,
and that he has to be One, and that's The Creator
Then after all of these arguments,
if someone asks who created the First Creator,
the question becomes illogical
Why do we comprehend this answer but it still doesn't satisfy us?
why do we keep asking the same question over and over?
When I tell you that Allah is merciful, you comprehend that description
because you know someone in your life who is merciful,
he is your reference of a merciful person
you understand that Allah is merciful
because you see examples in your life of merci, like your mother
That's why it's not hard to grasp the idea of Allah's merci
because you see this concept in your life
Also when I tell you that Allah is forgiving, you know forgiving individuals,
they are your reference to forgivness
But when I tell you that Allah existed before space and time,
you have no reference of such concept to help you wrap your mind around it
So it's possible to make sense of this concept
but it's hard to wrap around mind towards it or imagine it
That's why we are satisfied with the answer to this question,
because we logically accept it yet we can't imagine it
I have an example of the difficulty of imagining something I have no reference to
Imagine an embryo in the womb of his mother,
imagine if we are able to reach him somehow before he is born by couple of days
and we told the embryo that in couple of days he will be out of the womb,
out of the liquid he has been in for 9 months
that he will meet babies like him,
that he will eat from his mouth and not from the umbilical cord
which he has been eating from for 9 months
And that he will have a beautiful creature who takes care of him called "mama",
he wouldn't believe any of this, why?
Because he wouldn't be able to imagine it; it's a completely different reality!
Even though it's the truth!
He denies the existence of his mother even though he is inside her!
For the answer to satisfy us,
