>> ANNIE: Campus Climate, no we are not talking about weather, but what we are talking about
is how your feel and how your experience the campus environment.
>> ERIC: I want to be heard, because I believe that this is an opportunity for me to get
feedback to an important topic on campus.
>> CAMILLE: Because I feel like my voice and my experiences at Cal Poly are important and
are sometimes overlooked, because there’s not that many people here that look me.
>> STEVEN: Because my experience matters. My experience, your experience, they’re
different, but the sum total of all our experiences are what Cal Poly is about.
>> CAMILLE: The Campus Climate is important to me because when the campus climate is uncomfortable
for any person, then it makes it difficult for everybody to feel included and welcome
at Cal Poly.
>> ERIC: Because for me it’s about work life balance, and when you work in a place
where you want to be at, it’s a lot of fun and you get along with people, it makes it
easier to balance those two.
>> STEVEN: Because as they say a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, at Cal
Poly we are only successful when we are all active participants in the university Learn-by-Doing
mission.
>>ERIC: People should take the survey, because this is their opportunity to give feedback
to the administration, and I believe that this administration is committed to listening
to the campus community.
>> CAMILLE: Because we need to hear everybody’s experiences, everybody’s opinions. If we
don’t know what’s going on, we don’t know how to make the campus climate better.
>> STEVEN: Because, as a statistician, I must say that if anyone doesn’t participate,
their voice wont be heard. We only really have an accurate and unbiased perception of
what the campus is all about when everyone’s voice is heard.
>>CAMILLE: Your campus.
>> ERIC: Your voice.
>> STEVEN: Your experience.
>> ANNIE: We want to hear what you have to say.
