Hi
Hi Kilian
How is it going?
Couldn't be better...
[coffee machine rattles]
Presently everyone talks about nuclear energy
whereas even experts don't have a clue,
when nuclear power stations should be switched off, or not?
They discuss about 15 years...
a bit more than two years...
two years and four months...
or 10 years...
two years and five months...
nuclear phaseout in the long-term, in the middle-term, in the short-term...
or 15 years...
the nuclear power stations shall run still quite a long time...
at least 15 years...
or 25 years...
Recently, a big advertisement campaign of the nuclear supporter made some waves
a lot of people were surprised, that Oliver Bierhoff,
the manager of the German national soccer team,
belonged to the signees,
whereas he recently used in interviews any chance,
to let people know, asked or not, his opinion about nuclear pullout:
You can also tell this young players
who will be substituted: "It's worth fighting!"
I believe, it's worth not to pull out to early.
Hi Kili, we just got a new topic...
What?! The moon shrinks?
And what about our romantic moonshine promenades?
Well, the moon shrinks only 100 m a year...
and it has a diameter of almost 3,5 kilometers which has not a big effect on it, but...
astronomers do flip out on that numbers
and reseachers believe by the way...
that the crust of the moon breakes and some of it is pushed up...
because it is cooling and contracting inside..
what's that noise???
Oh, that is the ever so cute Miss Sweetie Poo.
The 8-year-old girl is punishing at the Ig Nobel Prize ceremony...
boring and lame researchers...
[very motivated] Kilian!!!
Aha, to make travelling in space in future times more secure
space vehicles won't be shot with rockets into the orbit...
but will be pulled by a 36.000 km long cable with an elevator into space.
At the Space Elevator Games in Tokio 15 international student teams have presented their results.
and their job was to construct an elevator...
which goes 300 m straight into the sky.
So they succeeded 0.00083% of the whole mission. Fantastic!!
Hi Kilian, your facilitation card...
Wow, recently astronomers at the La Silla Obervatory in Chile
have discovered a remarkable extrasolar planetary system
that has striking similarities to our own Solar System.
Can we conclude, that there is extraterrestrial life out there?
What's next...? Song of the week...?
Yes, just watch your card...
Sure...
Dear ladies and gentlemen...
like any week I will present you the song of the week!
This week it will be "The Case of Mars"
and this is one of the songs out of the serie "Symphony of Science"
by "melodysheep"..
they arranged statements and live-explanations and mixed them up to a song...
Okay, that's it
That's it?! What about the rest??!
Can someone please tell this snotty little madam to stop whinging??
I'm freaking out!!!!
