MIKE SPINELLI: Hey, welcome to Drive Central where all the
[BLEEP]
are given about cars.
Hit us up on @Drive on Twitter, and also on Drive TV
on Facebook.
Like us, and we'll like you a million times more than that.
This week on RideApart, Wes and Grant find the truth about
electric motorcycles.
Do they suck?
Or are they great?
Let's see what happened.
That's RideApart every Monday on Drive.
And you may have noticed that last week's Driven was
preempted by solar flares, according to JF, but this week
we will be showing the Porsche Classic episode.
Let's take a look at a bit of that.
MALE SPEAKER: Six 959s, Aquero GT, a 550 Spider, an Abarth
356, a Super 90, all customer cars, all cars that were sold
new, made their way around the world, and then found their
way back to their hometown, Stuttgart.
MIKE SPINELLI: That's Driven, every Tuesday here on Drive.
And on Chris Harris on Cars, Chris drives the very
duplicitous Mercedes SL63 AMG.
Let's take a look at what he did, probably sideways.
[TIRES SQUEALING]
MIKE SPINELLI: That's Chris Harris
on Cars every Wednesday.
And on Road Testament, Matt Farah and Mike Musto from
Drive shows, Tuned and Big Muscle, join me here at this
desk for some automotive shenanigans.
Let's take a look at what we did.
MIKE MUSTO: You know, you can't, like
400 horsepower now--
MATT FARAH: No.
MIKE MUSTO: Where that used to be like, I got 400 horsepower.
MIKE SPINELLI: Oh, yeah.
MIKE MUSTO: Everybody's like, Dude, 400 what?
MATT FARAH: The Tuner show is ruining my sense of speed.
MIKE MUSTO: Well you drive.
MATT FARAH: I mean, between 950 horsepower, the GTR, the
Lotus, all these cars--
MIKE SPINELLI: Well you even said that, like how do you go
back to driving regular cars when you're driving 1,000
horsepower cars?
MATT FARAH: My corvette is 2,900 pounds and 500
horsepower.
It doesn't feel fast anymore.
MIKE SPINELLI: That's Road Testament every Thursday.
And also on Thursday, on Big Muscle, Mike Musto introduces
us to some muscle cars that you might not expect were
muscular at all.
We call them "sleepers," and you call them
"sleepers" also, probably.
Let's take a look
MIKE MUSTO: This guy whose following us, and he looks to
be an official something or other.
So I want to see if he's going to pull us over.
He might.
This might be Big Muscle's first pull over.
I don't know yet, we'll see.
[REVVING ENGINE]
MIKE SPINELLI: That's Big Muscle every
Thursday here on Drive.
And this week on Shakedown, Leo Parente, not Matt Farah,
Leo Parente covers last weekend's racing news on
Monday, and on Friday previews the ALMS race at Laguna Seca.
So watch that or Leo will give you a nice smack.
@Drive on Twitter.
[LAUGHS]
Drive Central, that's it.
I'll see you guys next week.
