This is Dan Phillips of US Cellar Wine Cabinets Cooling Systems. Today we are going to talk
about our CC Series Wine Cabinets Cooling Systems which was specifically designed for
the single deep wine cabinets that extend the length of a wall for a wine cellar.
It is also an ideal unit for commercial type applications where you need a fast recovery
time since this is the only unit we use that uses a standard thermal expansion valve which
will give you the fast recovery unit necessary in a cabinet that gets high volume use.
By using multiple evaporator coils with this wine cabinets cooling system, we are capable
of covering BTU loads from 18,000 BTUs all the way to 86,000 BTUs. The ideal installation
for this unit is to install it in the center of the cabinet. It must be uptight against
the ceiling and mounted against the back wall as the ceiling and back wall form the top
and back of this particular evaporator coil. Installed this way with racking coming up
to within two inches at the bottom of the coil, it draws the air in the front and then
it is capable of blowing air out up to 10 feet going both to the left and right, so
you get excellent air circulation throughout the entire cabinet.
This unit, when properly installed in a properly constructed and insulated wine cellar, will
work ideally for the single deep application. As you can see, we offer four different vapor
sizes and with these four different sizes each one with a different BTU capacity, we
are capable, as stated before, of covering from 18,000 BTUs up to 86,000 BTUs by using
two of the largest evaporator coils. This allows you to cover larger areas or for
those high capacity systems where you have a lot of glass and you need a larger amount
of cooling for a small volume because of the low insulation quality of the glass.
