Hi, my name is Devin Finkel, and this is my project
Laymens Cave, the puppeteer
Looking at it we have ultrasonic range
right here, two of them
This indicates it's current state of seeing something or not seeing something
I have an Arduino back here which is mostly being used as a power sources
but also being used to communicate with the uh...
ultrasonic rangefinders. It's then using
direct/bitwise communication with the
microcontroller
the atmega32
right here
which then gets the input
from the ultrasonic rangefinders
and outputs
right here
to an H-Bridge, actually a double H-Bridge
This H-Bridge then outputs here
you can see the output line into the motors
Here is one, and the other one is underneath here,
... there
And what this robot does is basically
if you put an object in front of it
like a notebook
it will basically track its location and go towards it
it'll try not to smash into it
by stopping at a specific distance, but if you are ... there's two cases that can actually
happen, if you are not moving towards the robot as it moves towards you then you are ok
but if you are moving towards it as it moves towards you, the zone can be missed and it can hit you.
But this normally
doesn't happen, but here's an example of how that
could happen if you're moving towards it
that's the project
