A star has risen in this rotten state. A light has risen. [N. Michaloliakos, Golden Dawn's leader]
Some people that used to call us hopeless cases...
...some people that everyone used to call tramps, fascists, racists
but we were answering that "We are the future! And you are the past!"
Yes, I did say it and they commented on this...
During the speech that I gave to my comrades
of the parliamentary group "Golden Dawn" in the senate's hall..
That they called us Nazis many times,
but they NEVER called us thieves.
Maybe sometimes these hands salute like this...
...but they are clean! They are not dirty! They didn't steal anything!
Are you neo-Nazis?
We're definitely not neo-Nazis, and we're not fascists.
We're Greek nationalists. [I. Kasidiaris, Golden Dawn's MP]
Can you explain further?
We love our country and we are going to fight until the end for this love.
Do you know why Golden Dawn was established in so many Greek people's consciences?
Because everybody understood that Golden Dawn puts words into actions!
Do you believe that Greece had a dictatorship? Was it a revolution?
It was a different way of governing the country, [I. Lagos, Golden Dawn's MP]
somehow different comparing to the present standards,
but I want to ask you... Isn't what we live in right now a dictatorship?
Ιn my opinion, what we are living today is a dictatorship.
You're giving a diplomatic answer, Mr. Lagos!
-About what? -You're not giving a clear response,
whether you consider the military regime a dictatorship or not.
What do you mean by saying dictatorship? That they took up the country's government...
-By violence. -...by violence?
I wasn't born yet at the time, I don't know the facts. They used violence.
But in my opinion, if you take on a country's government using violence
but you do good things for this country, I think it's ok.

Injury by taser gun
"...Residents fight against immigrants and anti-authoritarians."
Agios Panteleimonas turned into a battlefield last night.
At around 20:00 Fylis street and the surroundings turned into battlefield, as residents stated.
They're talking about war. According to the Police, it all started when
a motorcycle demo from Exarchia moved towards the district of A.Panteleimonas.
At the corner of Fylis and Mithinis streets, residents of the area
wanted to stop the motorcycle demo.
This is when the scuffles started.
Two injured people were transferred to the hospital.
A large police force appeared on the spot...
The resident with his neighbours
"...Right after this incident I rang Greeks' doorbells, asked them to follow me out in the street and we started a chase and every foreigner in our way was beaten up ruthlessly."
"This is my hunting gun that from now on, won't be only for woodpigeons, woodcocks and ducks; it will be for some anthropomorphic animals such as, let's say, illegal apes."
"...suffered Abu Ghraib-style humiliation, referring to the detention centre where Iraqi detainees were tortured by US soldiers during the Iraq war."
N. Dendias Minister of Public Order and Citizen Protection
I'm telling you, and you're going to see it; the investigation has been conducted.
The forensic reports which are going to be published,
for those who were supposedly tortured;
those who don't sue, their names are not even cited...
The reports will show that there is not even a trace of electric shocks.
There won't even be a single burn! We burn the arrestees with lighters?
Can you seriously make these claims without solid proof?
