What's up MMO Attack. Welcome to the Daily XP. Today on the show we have Lotro's newest
expansion, SmashMuck crashing, you thought I was going to say smashing didn't you? Crashing
onto steam and a chronicles of riddick mmo perhaps?
Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment announced today that the Lord of the Rings Online Helms
Deep expansion will be launching on November 18th. The expansion will continue the story
into the western plains of Rohan, allowing players to take a role in the battle for Helms
Deep, while advancing towards the new level cap of 95. Executive Producer Kate Paiz says
they are excited to show players the site of one of the most memorable battles in Middle
Earth. It is another huge leap forward for MMO players.
SmashMuck Champions gained some pretty great press after their incredible showing at PAX
Prime a few weeks back. And now they are taking that success to the millions of players on
Steam by coming to Steam's Early Access Program. SmashMuck Champions is a free to play MOBA
that takes a unique spin on the genre, claiming to be more accessible, but still offers competitive
alternatives to the big boys in the genre. They pride themselves on an open development
process, so bringing the game to Early Access provides an even larger playerbase that can
only help them grow their game. Check out the game now. Like right now.
And now for some hot Hollywood Gossip. Vin Diesel, widely considered one of the best
and hottest actors in the business, made an off-handed comment about a Chronicles of Riddick
MMO that has all of us MMO players drooling. He mentions the game is still in its concept
stages so we probably shouldn't expect to hear anything official for a while now. But
of course it's just way more fun to chit chat about it! Until then we should all just hope
he finally makes The Pacifier 2.
Lastly, Riot Games released a brand new video yesterday about Teamwork in League of Legends.
The major theme of the video is that Teamwork plays a bigger role in league than you might
think. The video uses statistics, humor and cool graphics to basically call out Rage Quitters
and you annoying *** that berate your teammates in game. Teamwork OP.
That's all we've got for you today. Thanks for tuning in. Our Daily KeyWord is Diesel,
as in Vin Diesel. Enter it at mmoattack.com for a chance to win a $20 steam gift card
on tomorrow's show. Like this video, subscribe to this video and go play Smashmuck Champions.
