I'm incredibly proud to lead the Australian Labor Party. We've always been about making
life better for Australians. Medicare, education, a secure job where a fair day's work receives a
fair day's pay, but the Liberals are putting all of this at risk. As the mining boom slows,
we should be investing in Western Australia to support jobs and services, not making cuts.
What makes Australia the greatest country in the world is our quality of life and a
decent standard of living. I'm concerned that this is under threat, I'm worried that our
children who won't get a good job when they finish school. You can't catch cut your way
to a better future. That's not how you grow an economy, it's not the way to treat people.
Western Australians deserve better. Authorised G Wright, ALP Canberra.
