both pulitzer made the most unfortunate transition
in the history of media a special I for reads a curry a GPS
at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning thanks very much for watching
i'm wolf blitzer reporting from Washington the assassination of
President Kennedy begins
right now up
all
wall of the robot that's what he is
I'm he can always leave a little somebody else
up who also only knows how to read the teleprompter
but that's gonna do it for all of us here Channel 4 News
you stay classy San Diego I'm on burgundy
bed put a question mark on the teleprompter
for the last time anything you put on a proper
burgundy will read tire Channel 4 News team I
Veronica corning style and I'm Ron Burgundy go *** yourself San Diego
now
I'm partially you know doing this story for you guys cuz I think it's
it's just funny I mean probably not many people see a serious angle to this story
but actually do so partially on covering it because it's funny
the other part of it is that it's not a mistake
that a guy like wolf blitzer gets I think the most
air time %uh anybody on CNN he's on for so many hours every single day
now he was referring to a documentary about John F Kennedy and thats
why he said what he said but I either somebody missed a word in a teleprompter
or he could have phrased in a different way you got to be smooth enough and
savvy enough
to be able you know go with things on the fly specially if your life right I
do live
radio so I I know exactly what it's like and they do it he just a robot he does
the Ron Burgundy just read the teleprompter
next the assassination of John F Kennedy and it's not even like after he said he
was like two that came out weird that sound weird oh my goodness I just say
that
now there's no acknowledgement just like I read that and now let's move on
and the the point is it speaks to how CNN functions
CNN's job is to be be boring
neutral channel so they don't want to be it used to be
having a liberal bias your conservative bias so they're neutral
at all costs now some people might hear about that and say well that's good that
means that they're doing their job
as a news organization but that's not true because a news organization
shouldn't care at all about neutrality which means you always call a 50-50
they should care about objectivity they should care about truth at all costs
but instead of caring about truth and having acres you
know something about the world and no history no economic to know politics
they get are like wolf blitzer who has an opinion about anything in his entire
life
and then he goes on air and he's basically an actor
he is an actor who sits there and read the prompter and pretends to be official
in his boring monotone voice they hire these people on purpose
they want people who can't think
