Mobile Coding Prototype
Creating interactive content where ever you are
The following video demonstrates a prototype that explores how programming for smartphone could be done within an app on a smartphone.
The mobile coding app is easy and fun to use, lets see how it works.
Open the mobile coding application to start
To create a new project, press new.
Type a project name and press create
In the workspace, we chose to add text as first content
And place it where we want it to display
Content can be customized when user clicks the edit button
We add 'text' as the HTML identifier and make this text element invisible
It is possible to edit the HTML/CSS/JavaScript code for this element
The text is added but is not visible as it is set to invisible for now
We also add an image object to our project
This element properties can be edited in the same way as a text element
The size of the image is set
And we pick an image to use
And edit the code so that when the image clicked the text element will be set to visible
We can now see our image in the project view
And the project is now executable by pressing 'run'
When the image is pressed the text pops up as decided
Finally we should save our work
And we also want to share it with our mobile code friend
We select our friend from our friendlist
We can now see that our last project has been added to project list
And also open it
