Now I'm going to show you how to replace your trombone slide bumper. First of all, there's
numerous reasons why they would go bad, from normal wear and tear. Hit it on something
and bend your bumper, which can definitely effect the integrity of the bumper material.
This one as you can see is definitely torn, so we want to go ahead and take our little
pliers and remove that off of there. Then inspect it and make sure everything is okay,
and we've found ourselves a new bumper here which you can find at any repair shop. You
might even be able to find that at the hardware store. But this is pretty self explanatory,
just put the bumper down on the end there. And if you think that it might fall off, if
it's a little bit loose feel free to put a little bit of hot glue or something under
there to keep it in place. But it's very important that you have that on there so it prevents
damage of your hand slide crook. And that's how to replace a hand slide bumper.
