Hello my names Jonathan Rolande and I'm here on behalf of House Buy Fast to answer some
questions kindly provided by Zoopla. The first one is to a person in High Wycombe, and it's
called en-suite bathroom vs. additional storage space, in a new build 2 bedroom flat with
no built in storage, would it add more value having a compact on suite bathroom or using
the space for storage instead. It's a good question; it does slightly vary depending
on the area so I think you'll be really wise to speak to some local estate agents, obviously
I'm not local to your area and they'll then give you some specific advice. Generally in
my experience having been an estate agent for many years, I think mostly people like
the idea of an en-suite bathroom, storage is something people consider really once they've
moved in and they realise there isn't enough. The en-suite would really be an attention
grabber on Rightmove or Zoopla or estate agent details for example. You might be able to
use some clever storage solutions, obviously if there is access under some stairs or a
basement that isn't being used, a loft area or if there high ceilings, you could always
in the en-suite area put in a suspended ceiling and then have some loft type storage there,
because of course bathrooms don't need particularly high ceilings. So I hope that helps a bit,
