hi this is karen titus from stamping on the back porch today we're going to do these two
little baby cards now i've done this punch art baby cards before i love doing these but
i thought it would be fun to kind of update the look and update the papers now that stampin
up has a bunch of new ones out now this little on with the rompers could be for either a
boy or girl and here's one with dresses a more girly card so the little outfits are
all made with the owl builder punch you can see when i take my punch i am going to go
for the vest right there and to turn it into a little romper for the rompers i'm using
the soho subway papers i just love the little grungy look and i thought it made total sense
for these little outfits then i took the flip side of the paper and just cut a couple of
thin strips so you can see i would be putting them on right here i would put that under there and
punch my hole and then adding a little mini brad you can see i have done that twice and
then for doing the pocket that is just a little freehand cutout of this and before you say
ooooo i could never do this look at my three pockets they are all totally different sizes
and shapes and it really doesn't matter they all look really cute you don't even notice
that until i say it this is against a background of honeycomb layered on crumb cake and again
these are all papers from the soho subway and the island indigo makes the background
and i put a little bakers twine to make the clothesline thats a very fun card now to make
the girl card you can see i still have the island indigo base card and i just switch
to the gingham garden designer series paper that sounded perfect for dresses so i have
these brighter colors melon mambo and here you can see i didn't cut the slits so the
the dress will be just how it comes out now this middle one i just found a little place
like this and it just worked for the little bib on top you can see how the built in bib
is right there and then i decorated them oh and the little heart here is also from the
owl builder punch you can see the heart in the corner here and you can see that all three
of them have one of the candy dots on them to coordinate this one has a little glitter
for a little girls thing and this one has some of the washi tape i just took it this
is the size i used and i cut in in half for the length and then i put it on the dress
pleating it as i went these are fun to just decorate any way you want you know the little
pearls and rhinestones make great accents little laces so there you have two fun punch
art baby cards so if you enjoyed this video please subscribe to my channel and opt in
