DADDY OWEN: Hi, and welcome back to conversations with Arden. Today we were going to talk about
your opinions about some of the better movies that are out there. We know there's a lot
of movies aimed at toddlers and children...
ARDEN: There's Nemo...there's Nemo!
DADDY OWEN: Yeah, there is Nemo, Finding Nemo. You like that one, is that a good one?
ARDEN: Hmm.
DADDY OWEN: What are some other good movies that you like?
ARDEN: Maybe.. maybe... maybe... stories. Sharbies!
DADDY OWEN: Sharbies? I haven't seen Sharbies. What are your favorite movies.
ARDEN: Hold this.
DADDY OWEN: Okay, I'll hold this. Do you feel that the Muppet movies that were made in the
early 80s, do you feel that they've held up? Or that the glitz and glamour of Pixar movies
has made those Muppet movies look dated?
ARDEN: Um, maybe I love Gonzo!
DADDY OWEN: And what about the singing musical movies like the Muppet Movie itself?
ARDEN: T-T-Together Again. That's what they say. "Together again." That's what Kermit
say.
DADDY OWEN: Together Again? Yeah, that's from "Muppets take Manhattan," is that the name
of that movie?
ARDEN: Hmm.
DADDY OWEN: What about this rash of Penguin movies that we've seen out in the last few
years? There's been, like, every few months a new penguin movie. How do you feel about
penguin movies?
ARDEN: .........Ice!
DADDY OWEN: You know, that's a good point. I hadn't really considered that. Why am I
thinking they're penguin movies, they're really movies about ice, with penguins as kind of
the costars. Last question, we've got Muppets in Space, Cars, Finding Nemo.
ARDEN: We have...Arden and Mama Jodi find...NEMO!
DADDY OWEN: Finding Nemo, that's the movie you'd pick to watch?
ARDEN: Mmm Hmm.
DADDY OWEN: Well, there you have it, from this toddler, to you...the truth!
