Hello! Welcome back! In this video I'll show you how to create a mini-book charm using polymer clay!
This is the unique method that i really like, for two reasons: final yield of the object and the execution time. It's a very quick and easy work.
If you like the work, let me know with a comment! In the info box, you'll find the products list and the useful links. I hope you enjoy the video! Enjoy!
From google take the book cover. Decides the height (for example I choosed 4 cm). The width depends by the book thickness. If the book thickness is large, the cover book width will be great. If the book thickness is small, the cover book width will small.
Take a white polymer clay (I used fimo soft). Make a 1 cm high sheet, with the ruller.
the sheet thickness depends by the book thickness. If the book thickness is large, then the sheet thickness will be great. If the book thickness is small, then the sheet thickness will be small.
Take the book size on the polymer clay and cut the excess of clay.
Model the polymer clay with the cover book. If necessary, cut the paper excess.
Texturize the clay with a needle tool, for a 'paper effect'.
Add a head pin and bake. Let it cool.
With a strong glue, glue the paper on the clay.
I printed the book cover on a lucid paper, but you can use normal paper and on it apply a lucid varnish or fimo liquid and resin.
Thanks for watching! I hope you liked this work. Stay tuned for the next tutorial. Bye bye
