Good afternoon Attackers! How was your weekend? That's great to hear. Mine was too. Thanks
for asking. Welcome to your daily MMO news, exclusively from MMO Attack.com. On today's
show we have Legends of Persia on Kickstarter, new trailers for Icarus Online and Shadowrun
Online's early access. Your daily XP starts now!
So this first story is about a pc rpg game in the likes of Diablo. The game, Legends
of Persia, was just released today on Kickstarter and is scheduled to release in June of 2014,
so I'm thinking it just needs some extra cash to .. I dunno, put some last minute touches
on the game? Anyways, Legends of Persia will feature a single player campaign that stretches
across 5 different locations, with an estimated 8 hours of gameplay. There will be 3 different
playable characters with 200 unique weapons and a variety of enemies. You can pledge your
support on Kickstarter, or even IndieGoGo, which in my opinion is a blatant case of double-dipping.
WeMade Entertainment today release some new gameplay trailers for their upcoming flying-based
MMORPG, Icarus Online. The videos show off the games flying dragon mechanics, character
creation and progression features. Now I won't be the first, nor the last to conclude that
Icarus Online is looking a lot like Dragon's Prophet, with dragon taming, collecting and
aerial combat. But, I'll let the game speak for itself, rather than writing it off as
a blatant clone. At this point Icarus Online is locked in the West, and I don't have much
news on when we'll be able to see it on the good side of the ocean.
Shadowrun Online has had a rough start to its career. The tactical turn-based RPG set
in the world of Shadowrun completed its Kickstarter campaign way back in August of 2012, and after
a few set-backs, has released some new information about the upcoming Steam Early Access release.
Cliffhangar Productions announced that on march 31st, Shadowrun Online will appear on
Early Access, it will not be the full game, but will have the core elements, combat gameplay
and a bit of PvP. So look out for that next Monday!
