JAMES CREATES A GRID ON WITH TAPE, PROJECTS THE IMAGE ON TO THE WHITE CANVAS, AND TURNS
OFF THE LIGHTS. JAMES PAINTS IN THE DARK. HE MAKES SMALL BLACK
MARKS OB TO THE CANVAS, BUT PAINTS IN SUCH SMALL DETAIL HE DOESN'T ALWAYS KNOW WHERE

I'M PAINTING, HALF THE TIME IT'S A CHAIR LEG, AND I DON'T KNOW WHICH IS THE SHADOW, AND

THIS ROCK FACE, AND COMES ACROSS A WIZARD. SO I KIND OF WANTED TO FIND THAT WIZARD, I

IN HIS WORK. HE'S CREATED IMAGES OF FAMOUS MUSICIANS.
MUSIC INSPIRES HIS ENTIRE PROCESS SIMPLET THE THINK THAT I WANT TO REPLICATE THAT INFLUENCES
ME IN MY STUDIO THE MOST IS THE SPACE IS FOUND WITHIN MUSIC.
