Ever since we've farmed here in Highwood
we've been continuous crop. We haven't had
any chem fallow or summer fallow at all. It seems every year we've farmed here, you
know we've gotten from what I can tell as good
of yields on winter wheat
you know, following pulses as
others that have, that have it on chem fallow or on barley. So
uh... plus we've been able to be profitable on the pulse crops, too.
So, I don't know I mean I kind of
see our continuous cropping as we get the
rotation dialed in is less risk than
the wheat-fallow rotation.
