Hello everyone!
My name is Hugo Enrique Preciado FarÃas
i'm 21 years old
and i'm going to talk about
the project that we did
this project was developed
at University of Colima, engineering Telematics
it consisted in build a robot
we call this robot "Tepabot"
and is one out of 14 developed robots
we implemented a proximity sensor
to deal with our subject of optical communications
all the circuits are on the chassis of the robot
the first circuit (the green circuit) right here
is the engines control unit
and the second one (the white circuit)
is the proximity sensor unit
the proximity sensor unit detects near objects
and sends the information to the engines control unit
and activates them
so the result is the Tepabot goes backwards
and turn to right
it has a very simple programming code
but it works
we can add more sensors to "Tepabot"
like temperature sensors, camera
and even a sound system (i.e. Ipod)
these robots could be very helpful in many fields
for example when trying to explore
dangerous places
so here's a demostration of our robot the "Tepabot"
as you can see the sensor detects near objects
