This is the second in a series of demos about the steps to set up and use NEST.
You can set up someone to manage your account in your organisation
or a third party such as an independent financial adviser,
a payroll provider or an accountant.
You can set up as many delegates as you want to.
To delegate access, log into your NEST account.
On the Welcome to your NEST home page, select Create additional users.
On the Manage delegates page, you'll see your NEST login details
and employer reference number.
You can change your primary contact's details by selecting Edit.
You must have full delegate access to do this.
To give someone else access to your account, click Add a new delegate.
You'll then be asked to complete the new delegate's personal details.
Add the delegate's relationship with your organisation and their job title.
It's important to include an up-to-date email address.
We'll use it to contact them.
Add the postcode and click Find Address to add a pre-existing address.
If you've found the address you want to enter,
select an address and click Confirm address.
If you haven't found your address,
click Enter address manually to type out a new address.
Once you're done click Next step.
There are six different delegate roles, with different levels of access from
'full access' to 'read-only'.
For example, you could give your financial adviser full access.
You can correct any mistakes later, but it's a good idea to check
you've given the right permissions to this delegate.
You can find out more about each role by selecting
the Details link at the bottom.
Remember we'll act on the instructions we get from anyone
with the right level of delegated access.
Click Done and you'll see onscreen confirmation.
We'll send the delegate an email asking them to confirm they accept.
New delegates will appear on screen beneath your primary contact's details.
You can also click Add new delegate at this point.
They'll have a status of pending until they accept your invitation.
You can add additional users at any time after initial set-up.
If you're giving more than one delegate the same permissions,
you'll need to be clear about how you want them
to work together when using NEST.
