Hey guys. We are from My Korean Husband Blog
and this is Hugh. I'm Han
Okay today we are going to answer some of your questions
AGAIN!
Okay the first question is from Monique Kowal....skkk
When having a conversation why do Koreans in
dramas always announce that they're
leaving and that they are leaving first
Or hanging up the phone first? Do they?
I don't know, I don't watch dramas
I think someone need to tell that they are leaving first because
someone need to leaving right... so
Yeah I don't know why the translation is a little bit weird
but it's quite polite way that "I'm going first"
that I'm letting them know that I'm going somewhere
I'm you know, hanging up the phone first
Yeah so it's kind of respect people like that but it's really common in Korea
If I talk on the phone to who is older than me
I never hang up before they hang up
yeah me too. We wait until they hang up
yuuup. So...
for my, like when I talk to my friends
on the phone I just don't say anything and hang up actually.
I usually hang up the phone if
someone is younger than me because I know they are waiting
me to hang up first. Yes. That's like a Korean
cultural thing. That's the first thing you
learn when you learn how to use phone
your parents will teach you
how to use a phone, how to hang up the phone and that's the
way Korean people hang up the phone, you have to wait until
the senior or older person to hang up the phone
Yessss. YOU DIDN'T KNOW THAT?!
Okay next question is from Jennie Soonwoo. Sounds like Korean name
Can they do this with their fingers. I know
a lot of Asian people can. I can't
and I can't actually.
I can't do this.
but maybe Han can do it. I practised this.
for about 2 months
wowowowow
I practiced you know. You can't
You can't get anything you can't gain anything
if you don't try. Okay next question
is from Asra Ahmed
Dod you think you'd ever get married to foreign girls one day?
I didn't
expect that I married to
Australian woman or foreigner woman when I was young
because I'm from really small town. And it's really
countryside and yeah
I never expect this and I thought I just married to
Korean girl but now I'm married to Australian woman.
It's weird
(Nic: Thanks!) But I'm happy. Isn't it?
It is. Um, Okay. I didn't
expect I would marry to
Australian woman like foreign woman
but I always wanted, I
always wanted to marry to
foreign girl, because I don't know
it was like kinda fantasy
It was like something I can't do
for my whole life, so but like I really wanted it
I was really really desperate... desperate!
And you did it! Okay next question from
auuhhhhhsky asks
um What is the
weirdest thing about korea which we
might not know? Yeah people wear hiking gear
as normal clothes and they are not going to hiking, actually
they spend so much money for really good gear
and they don't really go high mountain
and also it's kinda fashion and they go to coffee shop
and some of my friends and my parents
my father's friends, they wear that hiking gear
for attending weddings sometimes
it's really weird. And also
I had a perm when I was younger.
about 6....5 or 6.
Korean people perm their kid's hair and I think that's a
little bit weird but I didn't know it was weird
I think still do, like they have
the perm hair and their children also have the perm hair
so they have something similar. Match hair.
Match hair thing. Okay next question
from Sara Sha
Argiolas. Korean men and beard
Do you never had beard?
Yeah I think I have lots of facial hairs so I have to shave
every day if I don't shave one day
I have so much hair on my face
so I have to shave every day. What
about you Han? Yeah but, not for me.
I tried to grow my beard but
I couldn't like. Impossible. I don't have enough hair on my face.
so...
this..... I haven't
shaved my hair for a month. Wow...
I envy him actually because I have to shave
every day, if I don't I look like (Nic: Gangster)
Yeah like gangster or like
dirty boy or homeless or whatever. And also
when I went to highschool there was my
classmate who had like heaps of hair
their face, his face and I asked him "How did you grow your hair?"
He was telling me
If you put some vinegars on your face it will grow. So I tried
vinegars for about a week
and I just realised, it's just going to smell bad...
