The name AHOM is a very representative choice.
To understand its symbolism and strength it's necessary to take up the writing history.
Nowadays, the researchers seem to be closer to a common ground regarding the writing origin.
In most ancient civilizations, the invention was attributed to gods.
GOD TOTH
But there were also societies who attributed the writing origin to humans,
as an attempt to communicate with gods.
It's not possible to disagree that writing offered mankind the possibility of transmitting information and memories precisely,
making possible, thus, spreading and expanding knowledge.
The oldest written registers found so far are related to laws and religious texts,
as it is the case of the famous Hammurabi, the Ur-Namu code and the Rosetta Stone.
The Rosetta Stone, found in 1799 by a Napoleon's Army Battalion,
was crucial for the understanding of the Egyptian hieroglyphs,
and Champollion was the first one who deciphered these hieroglyphs by studying that stone.
THEY DID NOT COUNT ON MY CLEVERNESS!
Hey, I told Champollion, not Chapolin!
Champollion stated that the Egyptian pictograms are: "A complex system, a writing which is, at the same time, figurative,
symbolic and phonetic, at the same text, same tense, and almost, I would say, same word."
This means the hieroglyphic writing probably represents the oldest organized writing system of the world,
which as time goes by, evolved to more simplified forms as the hieratic -
a more cursive variation which could be painted in papyrus or clay plates -
or even the demotic - with Greek language influence - and afterwards the Coptic one,
the last stage of ancient Egyptian language.
The hieroglyph is each of the writing signals of ancient civilizations which had,
most of them, the letter "A" as the first letter of their alphabets.
The letter "A", for ancient people, had a great mystical power and magic characteristics associated to number one.
As the Phoenicians' "Aleph" and the Greek "Alpha".
But the form of "A", as we know, has its origin in Egyptian hieroglyph symbolized by an eagle.
In several cultures, the eagle is associated to noble meanings,
such as wisdom, speed, strength, greatness, victory, rebirth and bravery.
- Is it a meteor?
- Is it an airplane?
It is an AHOM.
For ancient Egyptian, the eagle was a sacred bird known in Coptic language is AHOM.
But the eagle is, also, the representation of letter "A".
For AHOM, the eagle represents our position before mankind and our commitment to contribute for the knowledge evolution,
based on the triad: mind, soul and spirit.
Our eagle, our AHOM, reminds us the immense human potential to create and innovate.
It motivates us to work in search of education strengthening, so that it is possible to learn and teach better,
and building up a planetary awareness, contributing for the planet sustainability and society evolution
for a more human and fair reality, with more opportunities.
Besides the eagle, the use of a hexagon in AHOM brand, symbolizing the six carbon cyclical chain,
leads us to the possibilities of this chemical element in making connections.
The carbon is the main element in Organic Chemistry and it is part of every living being.
Connecting to itself and to other elements, it forms new chains and transforms itself.
We, from AHOM, believe that through connection and interaction among people, processes, projects,
ideas and dreams we can accomplish everything we have set ourselves.
For going from immaterial to matter, we need carbon.
In the perfection and the simplicity of this process lies the symbolic representation of what we believe to be our happiness formula.
This is our motivation.
