Christian Karasiewicz here from ChristianKOnline.com and today we are going to teach you how to create a Facebook landing page tab to display your YouTube videos using Shortstack.
Let's get started.
This is the Facebook landing page tab that we are going to create to display our videos from YouTube or Vimeo using Shortstack.
Step 1 is to login to Shortstack. Now if you don't yet have a Shortstack account, I've included a link to this tool in the description of this video. This way you can sign-up and get started.
So within Shortstack, Step 2 is to click on create app from template and search for video. Now at this point, you are going to bring back a number of different customizable templates. For this tutorial, we are going to create a landing page tab using the video channel 2.0 template so just select the template.
Click on make app.
Now at this point, you have a couple of options. You can customize the header image, you can customize the main message. What we are most concerned with is the video section. We are going to go down to the video section and click on the pencil icon. At this point, all we need to do is enter in our YouTube or Vimeo user ID.
Now once it brings back our videos, we have a couple of options. So you can choose to display all of your videos, videos you have favorited or a specific playlist.
At this point, it is going to fetch all of your YouTube videos. If a Facebook fan comes to your Facebook landing page tab, they can click on a specific video to have it load in Facebook. You can take this one step further and with Shortstack, add in social sharing options. We are going to add in the ability to like our Facebook Page.
Select the like button under Facebook features. Select override URL, and enter in our Facebook Page name.
At the point you also have some advanced options and choose a button count over a standard button. Click save.
This is what you will end up with. You will have your YouTube videos and at the bottom, someone can like your Facebook Page.
One last thing, select install app to publish your Facebook landing page tab. Also be sure to tell your fans about your landing page tab.
You can do this by right-clicking on the Facebook landing page tab you created and select copy link address. Now when you past this URL in a status update, people will be able to click on your landing page tab and view your videos.
So that is how to create a Facebook landing page tab to display your videos from YouTube or Vimeo using Shortstack.
