So let's start with the soft Vermona sounds.
Here's the kick drum.
So this is a little bit distorted sine wave. What's very important to notice is that you
can find the decay parameters all under one another here.
So it is very easy to control the whole drum synth.
Here we can change the pitch. We can go down into the sub-audio range and if we connect
the kick's output with another input we can use it as a sort of LFO.
Here are two other parameters: bend ...
and that is the bending time... from very short to very long
We can add some noise to the beginning
more or less, as we like it.
and also some attack as well
on a big sound system above 12 o'clock the attack can be a real killer
here are two identical drum parts
the pitch and the bend are here as well
from a positive to a negative direction
and from negative to positive, a very soft sound
here we can also find the attack
we can add a faster one
and here is the multi
it was a very strange setup here...
this one actually
can be used as a cowbell, a piano or a laser beam
anything can be created what you want
the bend goes the same way here
from positive to negative and back
there are two independent pitch parameters
we can go high and filter it out
the next one is the snare
here it is a stronger snare setup
but it all depends on the filter here and the attack
not to mention the amount of the added noise
small noise, small snare
more noise, longer decay
fatter filter
more attack
and another decay parameter
the more pounding it becomes
the filters as we can see they are important at the hi hats but most importantly it is
with the snare, that it can get very musical
and here's the home of the hi hats
there's that game that we can change the filter and its envelope
if we had enough the showers we can add some more metallic oscillation
we can add a quicker attack with the same metallic taste
as well it can get so sharp that on a big sound system it can *** the audience
and finally here is the clap
that the is also based on a filter and a noise
also it is very unique and can be musical
and if this wasn't enough to set the two drums to "knight rider" mode
and the inverted "knight rider" mode
on the one hand the waveforms can be mixed
from a not so clean sine to square
and also here is the FM (frequency modulation)
one *** is the amount, if we set it up that way
a clean waveform then can be modulated
from very slow
as you can see the intensity decreases and the frequency increases
it can become softer softer
and if we set the two drums almost symmetrically
but a little bit away from each other
we are already found ourselves
in Berlin
but if this isn't all enough, we have separate outputs for each channel
We have a Left, Right Output, beside the MIDI IN and OUT, and we also have Headphones output
So we can filter, distort or spice up our sound to infinity
