From the first moment you make your application to when you graduate from your degree
INTO UEA London has all the support you need to give you the best student experience.
So let's take a look at the support we offer. First of all it's our fantastic student services team.
My name is Renee Corsie and I work for the student services
team at INTO. I am the student services coordinator and I work with other
coordinators here to support you while studying here at the centre. We have a welcome desk
that is here to answer any of your queries and we will also see you through your student
journey from start to finish. We look forward to meeting you soon.
There is also an extensive orientation programme when you first arrive in the country. UEA
London staff give a series of welcome talks to help you settle into the study Centre.
There is plenty of help with the registration process and there are also guided tours to
help you get to know your new home in central London. There is also the fun social activity
programme. Hi I am Adina and I am the social events coordinator.
We have a number of sports and social events available to you. So when you get here just
come and see me. I look forward to seeing you soon.
We even offer 24 hour support to our students. Hi, my name is Madonna and I work here at
INTO as the Student Services Team Leader. We offer 24 hour support to our students and
we have an emergency phone, which is not meant to be used for pizza delivery but it is meant
to be used for emergencies. So if you do ever get lost in London or if you arrive in the
uK and you need some help there is a telephone number that you can contact. Myself and the team
are the ones that usually answer the phone and we will be more than happy to help you.
If you can't explain what you need in English we have various staff that can speak languages
from around the world. See if you can guess them.
We also give you lots of support to plan your future. Being a personal tutor is a lot about
just listening, sitting your student down and saying, 'Hey how's your week going? What
do you need to support you? What are you doing to prepare yourself for university?' Also,
just checking in with them and getting to know them. Because when we write the references
they are personal to the person writing them, and we want people to know that we know our
students. So thanks for watching and remember if you
ever need help at INTO UEA London all you have to do is ask.
