This is Amidst.
It doesn't look like much now, but when we insert a seed, Amidst will show all biomes, villages, stongholds, slime chunks, and Nether Fortresses
Let's start by opening a seed.
I used the seed 12345. Once you've inserted your seed, hit Ok.
Select the world type. (Default, super-flat, and large biomes)
Let's wait for Amidst to load the seed.
There! As you can see, Amidst displays villages and strongholds with sort of a Google Maps UI.
Hold down your left-mouse button to move around the map.
As you can see, I have selected a village.
And the stronghld right above it. The side bar shown various information like: mouse location, number of villages and strongolds, and other stuff
Let's find a nearby stronghold. In the file menu, click Map > Find > Stronghold.
Select the coordinates of the perticular stronghold.
Amidst displays it right here!
Let's see where slimes will spawn! Click Map > Layers > Slimes.
These purple boxes are the areas slimes can spawn.
Let's check the Grid option.
That option shows a grid on the map.
Let's uncheck the Grid and check the Netherhols option.
This option displays the location of Nether Fortresses. (Netherholds)
Now let's open a file.
Watch as a select a Level.dat file.
Amidst will now show villages, stongholds, and all the other stuff I showed you!
Since I've already played in this map, it shows the location of my player.
Click Map > Go to > Player to find your player.
