Hi I'm Brent and today i'm going to tell you about the iTalk2 and iTalk2 with
levels.
These two products are easy tech communication devices from AbleNet
and they're perfectly designed for choice making activities, things between choosing
between two snacks or even simple yes and no scenarios.
Recording is really easy so let me show you how
to record. The iTalk 2 it's really simple
I just press and hold my record button until the light comes on, that lets me know I'm
in record mode, then
I press and hold my message location while speaking my message and I release when I'm done.
I repeat that for the other side
and I exit record mode by pressing the button one more time it's so easy and let's say worst-case
scenario you even forget how to do it, it's alright just look at the back
instructions are written right on the product. Both the iTalk 2 and the iTalk 2 with
levels have a lot of same features. Two-and-a-half inch switch trip surfaces
and built-in symbol storage where I can put my picture symbols there when they're not in use. I can
hold them onto the surfaces of course
with my included snap case.
They also both include jacks on the back that allow me to use either my favorite external
switch to control the device or I can use the iTalk 2 to control a switch adapted toy or appliance
that's plugged in. Both of these products can also be mounted the same way using
our whole line of mounting products so check us out online and find the right one for you.
Let's talk about the difference between
the two, the iTalk 2 has two minutes of recording time and two messages
the iTalk 2 with level has four minutes of recording time across three levels so I can record three sets
of messages and take the iTalk 2 from one choice making activity to the next without
having to reprogram.
