Today is April 31st and I wanted to... Hold it...
No, that's correct. Why did I stop?

Hi there, I'm Roberto. Hope you guys are doing well.
VEDA, Vlog Every Day in April, officially ended yesterday.
But I'm taking a break from the break I said I was going to take, to shoutout and congratulate
some true VEDA champions. One of the few downsides of VEDA is that you
don't have enough time to discover and follow everybody who is participating.
From the fifteen people I was following, eleven didn't complete the mission.
There was this one guy who didn't take things seriously, I don't even know why he decided
to participate, but for most of them life just got in the way.
I understand that and I can definitely relate. Hey, you can always try VEDA again in August.
But from the people I was following there were four true champions.
These guys did vlog every day in April and they completed the mission undefeated.
First, there is Amy Schmittauer. This lady has a blog, Savvy Sexy Social.com,
and there she had a calendar with video ideas for VEDA.
Her vlogs did follow this calendar but you would think: Oh, if I saw the calendar I know
what the videos are about. Not really.
She did manage to cover additional topics in her vlogs, so her vlogs were always fresh
even if you looked though all the calendar; the calendar didn't spoil her vlogs.
So congrats Amy. Not only you rallied a big community together but you also completed
your mission undefeated. You and Lucy are awesome!
The second shoutout goes to the man who introduced me to VEDA.
You guys remember Ricky Anderson II, aka Stewdippin? If you read through the doobly-doo in all
of my VEDA videos, you will see his channel featured because he is the guy who made that
awesome VEDA logo that I used to feature my VEDA playlist in the end screens.
Now, Ricky is a true General. Not only he engaged with the community in
a VEDA Facebook group, but he did complete the mission with 30 vlogs in 30 days in his
second channel, The Second Ricky. And here's the big part: He was able to do
it even as he was moving to a new place. Have you moved recently?
If not, count your blessings but if you have, you know how stressful moving really is.
I don't think I would've been able to handle vlogging while doing all the stuff necessary
for moving. So Ricky, I tip my hat to you sir.
Next is a guy I didn't know nothing about before VEDA; I found him thanks to Ricky.
Joshua J. Knowles. Now I don't know if Joshua had any previous
experience with YouTube, his channel doesn't link to a main channel or something else,
but if VEDA was his first experience with vlogging...
DANG, that was good man! He's got this awesome voice and he talks so
comfortably while holding a camera, and he made 30 unedited vlogs.
You did great Joshua, and I look forward to see what's in store for the future.
Now a big shoutout to a man who needs no introduction. I have featured him many times in this channel
but I don't care. He deserves that and more. I'm talking of course about Lamarr Wilson.
This man started VEDA with a plan, a big one, rebooting his channel into what should've
been in the first place, his words not mine, and that took some serious guts.
I mean, he risked losing many subscribers, he had to put up with many trolls who don't
get the message that he is not a tech reporter anymore.
A vlogger is what he is and what has always been in his heart, and he made it undefeated
through 30 videos in 30 days. Lamarr, you are a true champion.
I'm extremely proud of you and extremely proud of being a Lamarrtian for life.
Also a special shoutout to Wheezy Waiter... Beardlover and Wheezynewser for life!
... and Chris Pirillo. These guys kept their respective vlogs going.
They vlogged every day in April just like the vlogged every day in March, every day
in February, every day in January, every day in December, well you get the point.
These are the champions who kept me motivated and who played a part in me completing the
VEDA mission undefeated as well. Links to these guys' channels, you know where,
in the doobly-doo. And thanks again to you guys, the viewers,
for watching me throughout this VEDA journey. Thank you for watching.
If you liked this video feel free to share it with others.
Also if you haven't done so already you may want to subscribe to my channel, which is
free, and you'll be notified when new videos are released.
Thanks again and I'll see you guys next week.
