\f0\fs24 \cf0 Interchangeable needles are a great way to have all of the sizes and lengths
you need any time you need them. Knitter's Pride offers many different sets of interchangeable
needles and hooks and they all attach to the cords the same way. First you choose your
tip size and you choose your cord length. I'm using size 8 needles on a 24 inch cord.
You screw the needle onto the cord until it feels tight. Next, you take the key that's
packaged with all of the sets, insert it into the hole at the top of the cord, and using
the key as leverage, twist the needle tip just a bit more. You do the same on the other
end of the cord. This secures the needle or hook onto the cord and makes a nice smooth
join. If you need your size eights for another project you can leave your current project
on the cord, just use the key again to twist the tips loose. It inserts at the top of cord,
and using it as leverage you unscrew the tip, and if you're leaving your project on the
cord, you can use one of these needle size identification tags to remind yourself later
of what size you were using on this project. Then screw on an end cap onto each end of
the cord and your needles are free to be used on another project keeping your project secure.
