Ok we are in phase two which is the involvement stage of developing relationships and we are
talking about strategies that we use, especially when we are trying to develop romantic relationships
and find out if the other person is as interested in us as we are in them. And the next strategy
is indirect, not coming right out and saying, "Hey I think you're foxy" but dancing around
the subject a little bit. This is where you might start joking about the happy life you
are going to have together or when you are joking about the marriage, or joking about
the children or maybe even joking about the names of the children that you guys are going
to have. This is also where you could be dropping hints about a future together, you are not
coming right out and asking about that future, but you are dropping hints about is that a
possibility. And what happens is if you get similar responses back from the person that
you are doing these things to, then you know that they are having the same kind of interest
in you. Maybe they are joking back about the wedding or the names of the kids or so forth
and so on. And by doing that then you are able to understand where they stand and where
they feel about this relationship going forward, moving forward.
