Welcome to League of Legends Update.
A show that takes day old Reddit posts, turns them into cheesy jokes and calls it news.
I'm Buddy Hutton.
On today's episode we have TheRedBaron with a Competitive Spotlight,
Nick Allen makes fun of some people in the community,
and HatPerson tries to get his "Art Work"ť on Summoner Showcase.
Also, we are giving away a bunch of crap at the end of the episode, so you should watch the whole thing.
Ok, you can skip Barons part...
but that's it.
Now for some news.
Audio of a new, unreleased champion Jayce was recently leaked online.
We've gathered information from multiple resources, and our artist has come up with this rendering
of what it'll probably look like.
This one is for the folks back home.
**** techno music playing*
Riot has announced that they will be removing ELO loss as a consequence for leaving games
in the champion select phase,
but they have added other ramifications to prevent constant queue dodging.
TSM announced that they are going to be moving to new team houses in Santa Monica.
We're sure they're going to make the best of that California sun.
*Coughing*
*Farting*
Now let's go to League of Legends class with Professor Reilman.
Hey, guys, this is James Reilman and this weekend at Dreamhack we saw a giant fall
as CLG.EU toppled Moscow Five.
The key for CLG.EU has simply been that there's no weak link to their team.
Each and every lane is among the strongest in LoL right now and very seldom do they fall
behind in their laning phase.
CLG also tends to pick into late game, high CC teams, where their superb team fight control
is able to shine.
Particularly with champions like Froggen's Anivia, who can stall pushes and easily control
fights against short-ranged teams.
Part of the issue playing against CLG.EU is their team versatility.
And with champions such a Anivia, Kog'Maw, Urgot and Shen, there is simply too many ways
that they can beat you for you to ban them out.
Couple that versatility with strong coordination and unpredictable early fights and you have
a great recipe for success.
CLG.EU looks all around phenominal right now, so we'll see how they do coming into the Season 2 Championships.
Thanks James!
We all learned a bunch.
Now let's go to Nick Allen who's still hung over.
*Epic Music*
Hi, I'm Nick Allen, and this is Community News.
SK made some recent roster changes, kicking "Candy Panda" and "Dedrayon" from the team.
You might remember some other former SK players "Snoopeh" and "Wickd", now on the strongest team in Europe, CLG.EU.
We're all really excited to see the new SK line up.
Over the weekend, some excited matches happened at GESL tournament.
TSM took first and CLG Black took second.
Unfortunately, there's no video evidence that this ever happened.
Dreamhack was held over the weekend, with CLG.EU taking first place.
Dreamhack host, The 2GD Studios, had some interesting things to say about the event.
Calling League of Legends, League of something, referring to some people's lack of acceptance of the game.
So thanks to the 2GD Studios, whatever the f**k that is.
I'm Nick Allen, and this is Community News.
Thanks Nick.
For showing up to work today.
Now let's go get artsy with HatPerson.
I'm gonna get on Summoner's Showcase this week and I'll tell you why.
I'm gonna carve and ice sculpture of Ashe the Frost Archer.
So this is the end goal of what we're trying to achieve.
The main goal here is to avoid the bubble of emptiness in the center, which is unfortunately
there by happenstance.
Start with the face, and then we just go from there.
That's not good.
This
Okay, okay that was her ear.
But you know it's just.. we can work around this.
I'm gonna begin to round out the head.
Here.. that's.. okay she got a buzz cut.
If you're just ... if you've ever ice sculpted and you get hungry ...
I mean it's just ... it's all, it's water
Clean it off
It's not the best tasting thing in the world
As much as...
possible
*Sigh*
We can still work with this.
Okay.
Here you go, this is my submission for Summoner's Showcase.
This is Ashe, the Frost Archer.
*Ashe breaks*
F**king ice!
YOU'RE WATER!
Good job AJ.
Congratulations to last week's giveaway winner Johnson Li.
This week we are giving away another Razor Mouse Pad, $10 Riot Point Card, and a general
admission ticket to IPL5.
Be sure to subscribe and leave a comment rating the following clip on a scale of the Reverse
Dyrus skin to the Medieval Dyrus Skin.
Good night. Good luck.
And now for your moment of Rage.
