Today I'm going to show you how to create a classic
Hollywood glam look.
So I'm going to show you how to do a nice wing eyeliner
and a very pronounced red lip.
First you want to start with your eye shadow.
You want your eye shadow to be really nude, so today I'm using
the CoverGirl One Kit shadows in Champagne and in Smolder.
And here's the Champagne color, and I use this on my lid,
all the way up to my brow.
And in the crease, just very lightly,
you want to use the brown Smolder.
Next, the most important part of the look
is the winged eye liner.
I'm going to be using CoverGirl Liquiline Blast, and the
reason I like it is because it is really easy to put on,
and that's why they call it the Liquiline Blast,
because it goes on like a liquid, but it's a pencil.
So let me just show you how to do that.
You can hold your eye taut if you'd like, just very gently,
and I like to start in the middle, and pull my way out,
and make it a little bit thicker on the edge.
And you can make it as dramatic as you'd like, and then just
go in and finish the line on the inner corner of the eye.
I like mine a little bit more dramatic,
so I'm going to pull mine out quite a bit.
I'm going to go ahead and do the other eye for you,
and again, I'm going to start in the middle,
and pull out for the little wing.
And usually this look is done quite a bit in older movies,
and it's become really popular lately.
So I love it.
And just even it up how you like it.
If you want to go ahead and make it a little bit more intense,
you can definitely put a top waterline, and just be very
careful not to touch your eye.
And I'm just getting in the lash bed, just on the top outer part.
So that gives it a little bit more intensity.
Before you start with your lips, to make it more defined and to
shape the lip and to also keep your lipstick from bleeding,
you can apply a concealer around the mouth.
Today I'm using CoverGirl's invisible concealer.
So what I'm going to go ahead and do
is just trace the top lip.
It's okay if you get a little on the lip, and you just want
to rub that in with a brush, or your finger's fine.
And I have a little scar on my lip, so hopefully,
that will hide that as well.
Next we're going to line the lip, and I'm actually going
to fill the lip in with the lip liner, so my lipstick
will last a little bit longer.
Today I'm using Lip Perfection in Splendid, and it's best to
use a light pink or a nude color, that way you can
really let the colors of the red shine through.
This also gave me a little bit more of a pinky red,
which I really like.
So go ahead and line your lip, and I'm going to try and create
a little bit of a pointiness in my lip, so I'm going
to go straight down, and fill in the lip.
You can even go ahead and get in the inner corners.
And next I'm going to use the Lip Perfection lipstick
by CoverGirl, and it's in Burn.
And it's a very orange-ish red, and that's why I like to wear
the pink underneath it, so I get all those colors.
And you can apply it with a brush,
or just directly on the lip.
Now in order to define it, after you put your lipstick on,
you can go back over with your lip liner.
So today I'm just going to put on a quick coat of
the CoverGirl Lash Blast Volume.
It's one of my favorite mascaras.
And just want to jiggle that on a little bit to complete the
look, and I'm just going to do the outer corner of the lashes,
to really define that winged look and pull them out.
And I'm only going to do the top.
So there is your classic Hollywood glam pin-up look.
