Being on the catwalk "New Blood" from "México es Moda" in SAPICA was like...
... being in two different worlds.
One, who lived in the backstage, full of energy, talent, stress, tension...
... and an impressive efficiency. The makeup, hairstyles, designers, models, photographers, bloggers, stylists ...
... coordinators, production crew. All young people with a lot of speed.
The other, the one that guests perceive, tranquility, the atmosphere created during months...
... for being perceived for only a few minutes. All created by the great Francisco Saldaña, best known
for being one of the Designers of the "Malafacha" brand.
I can see after the runway all the coordination that night. I was intrigued.
The culprits were three brands that made the "Sangre Nueva".
Andrés y Guillermo from "Colaboración 00". Their designs perfectly groomed figures made
for the contemporary woman and an habitant of a cosmopolitan city.
Then came Jessica Franco dresses that walked and talked for themselves.
An adaptation of styles from other eras applied to our time.
And to close came Manuel Diaz with his galactic proposal. Risky in every way and shape but interesting.
The gateway was flanked by two opposite but very similar women. Different
materials, unconventional for our national context but without a doubt we will soon see...
... in our streets.
I had a great time in "Sangre Nueva". Those two worlds really like me. That is fashion.
Totally.
