Hi this Kimo Greene and I am here to teach you how to shape a surfboard on behalf of
Expert Village. Now we are ready to put the rails on it, I got them half way started here.
It is called ?A Sure Form", for fine tuning it is important to take your rail from the
nose of the board to the tail, if you do not do that you are going to get all kinds of
bumps. To me the most important part about a surfboard is the rail, because the rail
is the only part of the surfboard that is in the water when you are turning. You will
come up one rail or the other depending on which way you are going. It basically fits
perfectly right into my hand; this God gave me that is the perfect rail, right there.
So I check my rail with my hand. What you are doing is you are directing water, hydro
dynamically, so you want it to flow.
