If you would like to assign work to your students and track their progress, first of all you
need to create a group.
Creating a group is easy. First, navigate to the Groups page by clicking on the Groups
tab in the menu bar.
On the group page, click on the ĹCreate a new groupĺ button.
You then just need to give your new group a name, select which course you want your
group to have access to, and decide whether you want your students to be able to edit
their target grades.
When you click on ĹCreate your groupĺ, ActiveLearn will take you straight to the Group home page.
This is a page dedicated to your newly created group.
You can add students to your group in several ways. If you click on the ĹAdd studentsĺ
button in the Student section, you have three options.
[1] First, if you choose ĹSelect from my schoolĺ, you can add any students in the
school who are registered for the relevant course.
[2] Or, if your students already exist in another group, you can search and add them
to your new group.
[3] A third option is to register a new student with ActiveLearn, and then add them to your
group.
You can also invite a students to join your group by sharing this link, and asking them
to enter this group code.
If you would like to give teachers access to your group, there are three easy ways to
do this.
[1] First, you can choose ĹSelect from my schoolĺ to add any teachers who are registered
for the relevant course.
[2] Second, you can send an invite to a teacher who is already registered with ActiveLearn.
[3] Third, you can register and individual teacher and give them access to your group.
