Today we've been talking about all kinds of tips to help you with your ironing. And I
have another special one. I don't know about you girls but I have a lot of cute skirts
that have pleats in them and I have some pants. And one of the things that I worry about is
I'm going to iron them and you know lose the pleats. What I found is you can actually use
paper clips to help you out with this dilemma. Let me show you. Take your skirt, shake it
out a little bit, there you go. You're going to put it over the end, there we go, back
end, see there. Here is my pleat. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to add my paper
clips to my pleats. There you don't have to use big ones, I just like the blue ones, there
we go. And one more. Just to give you an example. Get some steam going here and I'm actually
going to go over, there we go. Here we go, look at that, keeps them right in place. See
that, now I don't really press down where the paper clips are because I don't want to
get any kind of iron or steel rust from them. Just go over top them, just gently over, look,
there we go, see that. Keeps it perfectly in place. What you want to do next, you want
to take your paper clips and keep going. So go on to your next pleat. You're going to
do this all the way around your skirt. Just keep it moving, really simple. Add it to the
next pleats or if you have pants, it's the same idea. Clip them right on that pleat,
go over do it gently, get some steam, but just keep it moving. That is how easy it is
to take a paper clip and keep your pleats in place.
