Teddy Bear Attack is a 2D platformer that allows you to take the role of a young teddy
bear whose sole mission in life is to protect a young child from the nightmares and monsters
that are out to get them in the middle of the night.
The primary gameplay features of Teddy Bear Attack is the ability to run, jump, and slide
underneath obstacles. You can also pull, push and manipulate objects in the world. Your
primary weapon is a needle and thread which allows you to attack and defeat monsters and
nightmares that've come to get you. You can also throw the needle into the cieling or
surrounding objects that will allow you to pull yourself around or even pull monsters
towards you.
One of my favorite aspects of Teddy Bear Attack is that we're going away from gore. Rather
than taking damage and life being in hearts and stuff and blood being everywhere the entire
concept is based on noise. You're a teddy bear. If you make too much noise while defending
your child, the child's parents will wake up and come in to put you back in the toy
box where you'll have to start all over again. This keeps us from having too much of the
gore factor and it keeps it playable for everybody without having to deal with the madness of
blood and guts everywhere.
We wanted to go with at least a little bit of the Disney scary when it comes to our little
villains and nightmares. That way it's scary enough.
Because we're worried about gameplay, we want everything to be as fun as possible. We're
looking at our control system. We've actually written in 5 different control systems. Well,
we're going to QA this and find out how many of them are going to be actually playable,
like you can use your accelerometer, tipping your phone will move your character or dragging
and swipe style or even the joystick style where you have the onscreen joystick it's
just going to depend on where we see the most enjoyable gameplay comes from. And this gameplay
cannot come to fruition without your help. We wanted to be able to deliver some great
graphics for cutscenes as well. We wanted to make sure we could give you a story and
a narrative that would weave between each and every level and aspect of the game. We
wanted to make sure we could introduce different bosses well. We wanted to make sure we could
introduce different challenges well.We wanted to make sure we illustrate not just the enemy
your fighting and not just the world around you but how you experience the world itself.

night and sweet dreams.
