OK, so when you think smartphone, you think pretty big, clunky,
blackberry looking PDA device.
Well, it doesn't have to be that way anymore.
And let me introduce you to the i-mate.
This is the 3125 GSM Unlocked Cell Phone.
And it's a flip phone. OK. So, that's a lot of good things.
It's sleek, it's small, you can put in in your pocket,
stash it in your purse, no butt dialing.
You don't have to worry about calling people you don't really wanna be calling.
And you still have Windows Mobile 5.0 on here.
So you can have your PowerPoint, your Excel Docs, your Word Docs.
You can IM. You can have E-mail.
You can have Bluetooth, Internet connectivity.
All those things, on a flip phone, which you don't find very often.
And I really like this thing.
OK. Let me first start off by telling you all about this phone.
It has Windows Mobile 5.0
You have 64 Megs of RAM, 64 Megs of ROM.
Now, up top here, this screen right here is 1.2"
and when you open it, this screen,
which is currently showing us an error message,
cause it wants us to download anti-virus software.
OK. There we go.
This is a 2.2" LCD Screen with a 320 x 240 Resolution.
Now, this is a Quad-Band Phone, so it supports 3G and GPRS.
And I'll close it, and you can see you have your 1.3 Megapixel Camera, right there.
It's also a video camera. You have Bluetooth.
Now this also has a microSD slot, which we'll show you,
so you can have even more storage.
And, you know, you can load pictures on here, videos,
it has games, text messaging, MMS messaging,
which is you multimedia messaging for sending pictures, and video.
And it's got all those goods in this little flip phone.
See. It's sleek. It's nice.
Alright, so let's give you the tour.
Up top, like I told you, here's your camera and your video camera.
On the side, right here, this is how you charge this baby up.
It's your USB port.
And on the front here, you'll see you have media controls,
and your speaker, and your Mic, up top.
Alright, so we'll open it up, and right here we are on the home page.
And it looks just like, not just like, I wanna say very similar to how
your computer looks when you start it up with that start menu,
because this is running Windows Mobile 5.0.
So basically, let's navigate around this thing.
I'm gonna press right here. There we go.
And we're gonna go into the start menu and you're gonna see all the different options.
Internet Explorer, that looks familiar, right?
You can load all your tasks up here.
You have Windows Media Player, so you can watch and download music videos.
Or you know, mp3 files.
And down here, contacts, that's, you know,
pretty normal stuff on a cell phone, these days.
Your messaging. Let's go into messaging here.
Alright, so here, once you're in messaging, it's thinking.
You have your Outlook e-mail, but you also have your SMS and your MMS.
Alright, so let's get out of here.
And go back. Oh no. We'll go back home. Has a home button here.
And if you go back into the start menu, you'll see even more goods.
Active Sync. OK. Active sync, it really really comes in handy.
It basically is how you connect your PC and your cell phone.
So you have all your contacts, all your messages, everything is in sync together.
So if something goes wrong, all your documents will be okay
because youll have them, on your PC.
Alright, so lets keep on scrolling down.
OK. Call history. Oh, oh, OK. So, once you've,
you know, reached the end of the page, you have to click on 'more' right here.
That's the trick. There you go.
OK. So you have your games. You have voice recording on here.
Your pictures and your videos. And we'll keep on scrolling down here.
You have your camera. You have, you know, your PDF viewer.
So, this is great if you are on the go and you're trying to work on some documents.
You can do that.
OK. So, you'll see you have some other goodies.
It looks like speed dial, task manager.
A lot of things that normally come on a cell phone these days.
And more, last but not least, you have your video recorder.
So, like I said, your camera is not just a regular 1.3 Megapixel camera.
It is also a video camera.
OK. So this i-mate is an unlocked cell phone.
So, basically what that means is you have to go to any service provider,
and get a SIM card, and once you get that card,
you open up the back, right here.
This is where the battery goes. So, we'll get it open.
You'll see this is the battery. And right here, this is where your SIM Card goes.
And next to it, you'll see, this is where your microSD card goes,
for your extra storage.
Alright, so what do you guys think about this i-mate?
Pretty cool, right? I like it.
I like it. It's easy. It's affordable.
It's a great deal. You're gonna get some great value out of this thing.
And it's very durable.
I feel like the build on this thing, it's built to last.
As cheesy as that makes it sound.
But this one can take a few drops to the ground.
It definitely has some durability here.
So, that's all we have for you today.
Thanks some much for joining us, and we'll see you next time.
