We often say that in this life we have a choice
We're always going on about 'one voice'
No one's alone, we have a democratic view
We see the things as they appear and not as they are truly
Comprehend our situation – now we're heading to a halt
We blame each other and forget that it's our fault
How can we compromise this crisis on our hands
If we don't even want to think about society demands
We need more water, we need clean air
We have a duty to this earth to show our care
We need to read more, we need to play
How can we expect our children to see another day?
See another day.
We often hear about political views
Up on the TV on the 6 o'clock news
They stand there speaking about wealth and about change
But all I see around me is a situation that will stay the same
If we as one don't question, who's to say we care?
For isn't part of caring actually being there?
We boast our independence
Show me where we stand
For all I see is that we're governed by the war corrupted man
We need more water, we need clean air
We have a duty to this earth to show our care
We need to read more, we need to play
How can we expect our children to see another day?
And so I end this little song about the truth
And hopefully it sinks into our future youth
All we can do is try our best in every way
And pray to God that our existence will see another day.
See another day.
