What's up Peoples this is Mr Brandon here and this is the first ever episode of
ReCap where we take everything Reason that happens in one week and put it into one
recap. This is episode number one brought to you on november third two thousand
and twelve
let's start with an update from Nectar. Nektar releases an update for the Panorama
P4 which now supports fourteen more
Rack Extensions.
These new supported Rack Extensions include: DR one deep reverb, Uhbik-A, Echobode
Renoun, ReStereo, Shelob, envelope shaper, Uhbik-Q, Volt CV-1, Uhbik-F
Yoko, Glitch, Predator RE
and probability drum trigger. Nektar also gave out some info on the Panorama
P6 Saying that "it is no secret that we are working on the Panorama P6...Though
we are not ready to release final details to the public yet, we can reveal that
the P6 features the same control configurations as the P4 with the
addition of and extra octave. Along with that Nektar also says that "A host of new
features are also in the works, particularly focusing on improving workflow for beat and
groove creation." Don't get too exciting thinking that the P6 will
have sixteen pads though because Nectar has already released photos of the P6
controller showing them with out sixteen pads. They also included this
statement saying that "the updates will of course be available to P4 users
as well" meaning that these improved beat and groove features won't be hardware
features, but instead software. Let's move on to rack extensions for this week
unfiltered audio announced their third RE G8 Gate or G-ate Gate
G8 Gate is an effect it that allows all signals over a specific threshold to pass
through. G8 also includes these features:

through the gate
RMS and Peak metering and much more. Ochen K. dropped another Rack Extension this
friday called CVTuner
making assumptions fourth release. CVTuner maps CV data to custom musical
scales that you define.
