We've had some what we're calling value creation workshops just recently where we had a cross section
of clients come and spend half a day with us and the message from them was loud and clear -
they want us to grow, they want us be part of an organisation that they can
be proud of, which was really quite insightful and touching at the time. They want consistency
of service, they want us to engage with them, they want us to share information with them
and they want us to be more accessible. Being more engaging we are using social media
for the very first time in this organisation increasingly which is exciting.
We're looking for our clients to be engaged not just in the capacity of the product delivery but in
shaping and enabling us to be as successful as we aim to be. We opened up Dandenong two-and-a-half
years ago now, Bendigo just over a year and some months ago and now we're moving to Footscray
in August. That completes our three homes - our permanent homes. For many that live in the
area or would be familiar with it - it is well and truly out of the ground. The external
work is largely complete, the builders are now inside fitting out the building a little
bit ahead of schedule which is great but we look forward to moving in in August, embracing
the community and embracing the diversity and the culture that Footscray offers.
We do want to be the world's best trustee organisation of the 21st century and we're well on our way.
The transformation program has placed us remarkably well. We have much more to do.
2014 for us is about growth. We have certainly gone through a lot of change as many of you would know.
There's still some change to come as I've mentioned as we continue to provide
the sorts of services that we have been providing for nearly 75 years now for the Victorian
community but we do it on a slightly different basis and that is that our clients are absolutely
centre to all the things that we do, the decisions that we take and all the products and services that we offer the Victorian community.
