- We're getting onto "Apollo 11" spacecraft.
Three brave astronauts.
- And one brave space pet.
Sunspot!
- Let's all try to sit back with our feet up,
'cause that's how the astronauts did it way back then.
[saucer beeps]
Mission control Mindy, come in.
Can you hear me? Time to count down.
- Roger, copy that.
Ten, nine, eight,
seven, six, five,
four, three, two, one.
Blast off!
all: Blast off!
- "Apollo 11" has blasted off
and is flying over the amazing Earth headed for the moon.
all: To the moon!
[cheering]
- [laughs]
I love being a pretend Earth astronaut from long ago.
- Me too!
All systems are go, Sean.
Be calm.
- I bet Neil Armstrong was probably nervous too,
but he didn't let that stop him.
- You're right, Sydney. I'm okay.
Just sometimes being in a cramped space
makes me feel weird.
- I used to feel weird when I flew with Mom and Dad.
Then I realized we're not in a cramped place.
We're in huge, amazing outer space.
Like Neil what's-his-name.
- Armstrong.
And, Jet, you're right, it's like Commander Cressida says.
A kid's place is exploring space.
- Thanks, Jet. Thanks, Sydney.
