Hi, I'm Kate.
And we're here at Proud Galleries Camden this evening
to launch a point gymnasium.
So what is a point gymnasium?
It's a free online training platform that's available for
anyone and you can access it at any time, when suits you.
It's all about the digital and creative industry.
And we're tapping into what our clients need.
They're telling us what their skill shortages are and what's
in demand in terms of skills and we're responding with
courses online for you to undertake.
We're kicking things off with coding for designers that have
traditionally worked in prints and branding.
You can learn how to set your files up for digital media, a
little bit of basic HTML and CSS, and you can learn about
all different things in terms of best practice when you're
using digital media.
We're following this on with responsive web design, some UX
prototyping, and then we're going to be looking at things
like managing your time, how to approximate when you're
freelancing, what to factor in, what works, what doesn't.
Aquent have been around for 25 years.
And we've been around long before iPhones and apps and
the internet.
We're passionate about changing how we do things.
We want to be better at the way we balance work and life.
The owners of our company are really all about
changing the game.
We've had over 6,000 people hit up our website for
Gymnasium, and there's plenty more space for more people.
So check it out.
It's pretty cool, gymnasium.aquent.com.

I really enjoyed the event this evening.
It was great sort of networking with people and
meeting all the staff and [INAUDIBLE].
They're very easy to talk to.
That's really important and they were helpful.
They're had got lots of helpful suggestions.
And that's been and I really, really enjoyed it.
There's lot s of stuff out there on the web.
But you know, when you've got in a module that's very easily
accessible and is run only by your agency, yeah, that's a
great little extra perk, isn't it?
For me, it's quite nice actually, getting somebody to
give you, like, feedback on, like, where you're going
wrong, where you're actually going right.
It's fantastic to get, like, hands-on advice, one-to-one
advice as well and, like, one-to-one learning as well.
So it's good because everything costs so much and
so it's nice to get it and free.
